Switching Canned Food Flavors-How Often?

The cats are doing well on the wet food, but are starting to get bored with the flavors. I bought a bulk order of Dave's and Wellness, and am thinking of adding another flavor or maybe even another brand into the rotation. How often do you change the flavors/brands of your cat foods?

You can feed a different brand/flavor every day of wet food without issue. Variety is good. You wouldn't want to eat the same thing day after day, would you?

I have about 10-15 I rotate through. 3 different brands/flavors per month so it's quite a few months before they get the same kind again.

Mine get something different every meal, unless your cat shows signs of allergies or stomach troubles there is no reason not to change it up often.

I make sure every meal is a different brand/flavour. I feed the honest kitchen dehydrated raw in the mornings and a different wet food brand/flavour in the evening. Sometimes I have to skip the honest kitchen for a day and just feed all canned since they tend to get bored rather quickly.

1 5.5oz can can last ET 2days. So he gets the same flavour for morning and nite for 2days before switching to the next flavour. Then his inbetween meal daily is now Wellness Core Turkey & Duck instead of kibbles. Most brands here in SG contain chicken, and ET doesn't like pate, his choices are few, so his rotation is like weekly between 3 different brands and 5 flavours. I'm still on the look-out for new brand and flavour without chicken and within my budget.

I have a dozen different flavors for 6 cats. Some like some, a couple like anything I put down and some love something one day and hate it the next and vice-a-versa. I just never know what to expect with some of them. Go for it!

When I fed wet, she got a different flavor every day (I had three flavors). If she started acting bored, I'd go out and buy one each of 10 other flavors, rotate through, then back to the standard rotation. It just depends on the cat!

I use about 10 different ones (4 different brands, 2-3 flavours each). We get between 2 and 4 meals out of a can depending on the size, so every time I open a new can I make sure it's a different flavour to the previous day.
