Bravo! I finally did it. I went around it by brushing him without the toothpaste first, then went on to add toothpaste after brushing both sides. He is certainly more interested in the paste and immediately recognised it the moment I took it out, smart kitty! its amazing how they remember things that they like.

Try imbedding the paste into the tooth brush, instead of squirting it on top. Just a thought.

Thanks Tigre86 and Marcia, may I know what you mean by imbedding the paste into the tooth brush? how do you do that? Right now, I'm still doing the brushing without toothpaste 1st and then add toothpaste as a treat. ET prefers to lick the toothpaste from the brush instead of having it on his gum/teeth, though I manage to get the paste on his gum, but not much of brushing though with the paste.
