Default Annoys me.

http://www.purinaveterinarydiets.com...ame=CornFiller

Our vet has a monthly newsletter and they added this nice bit on how corn is a great food for cats and dogs!, and that corn is highly unlikely to cause allergies/intolerance in a cat . Are they that stupid?, of course Purina would say that corn and other fillers are wonderful since that is what their food is made up of. We spent months trying to stop Miss Lily's explosive diarrhea, and then we switched her to a diet without grains and her movements were all of a sudden well formed!. Plus they kept treating her with flagyl again and again and one night we were sitting on the couch together, and she had what I can only describe as a seizure. It just really annoys me and thought I could get it out here before I post something like "of course purina would say that they are a terrible food filled with the stuff" to their Facebook page.

Yup. And Purina, along w/ Hills, Royal Canin, etc., is who taught your vet whatever he/she knows about "nutrition," by writing the textbooks and funding the vet schools.

Oh I didn't see before but if you look in the left column these people don't stop at corn! They wrote "myths" about byproducts and various other things too..... Haha oh my.... That's absolutely ridiculous and I might mock these articles on my Facebook.... crazy people

Was this just copied direct onto the newsletter? No amendment at all? That's bad!!

Yeah it was just copy and pasted. It made me annoyed looking at the other articles on the other "myths" in their eyes.

Does your vet know that a grain-free solved your cats issues? I'd bring it since they're obviously promoting grain laden diets.
