Any one posting here have any information +/- about any potential long term effects of daily doses of Lysine? As far as I can tell, there are none.

I bought the tablets from my drug store (rite aid) and crush them with a spoon. When they have flare ups I give them 500MG a day for about a month.

I bought the tablets because I take it as well when I get a cold sore and I don't want to sprinkle powder in my food/water
