Default Milk

My fiancÚ was drinking a glass of milk and one of our Boys were trying to take a sip too. I told him not to let him do it because it may not be good for him. He asked me why and I said I don't know. So he told me to ask everyone on here if milk is good or not. What's everyone think?

Cows milk is not digested by cats. Its the lactose. I've had cats in the past that will tolerate a few tablespoons of milk, but any more than that and they vomit. If you don't want to risk that, buy some Whiskas Cat Milk, available in a 3 pack for about $2.50 in the store near the cat food section. Two of my cats love it the rest won't touch it.

Found this which may answer your question:

Although milk is not toxic to cats, it may have adverse effects. Simply put, adult cats fed a nutritious diet don't need milk, and many cats are lactose intolerant, which means that the lactose in milk and milk products produces stomach upset, cramps, and gassiness. If your cat loves milk, and begs for it, a small amount of cream may be okay, two or three times a week. The more fat in the milk, the less lactose.

Just tell your boy friend it gives your cat gas!
