So jealous! My last haul was 10 3-oz cans so I can figure out which Soulistic flavors I should stock up on.
What's the story with the California Natural? I hadn't heard of it before. Is it pate? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

It's not one of my favorite brands. It's made by Natura (now P&G) the same company that makes EVO. It has rice in it so it's not something I like to feed and it's got fish in it (I think it was fish. Whatever it was there's something in it that makes MOwMow itch if he eats it too often).
I use it as a cheap filler for Shepherd Book. The California Naturals and BFF are my add ins to save money or coax MowMow to eat occasionally and the right side is what MowMow eats all the time and Shepherd Book's healthier half of each meal. |

nice! I wish my cats eat that healthy
I also just received monthly supply of food and it consists of 4 cases of FF and one case of EVO. I hope next time I will be ordering food for my monsters it will be significantly less FF and more EVO

Haha, I have a pool table of cat food! It is satisfying to have a bunch stocked up. I see your kitties eat a little better than mine, though.
Yes, California Naturals is pate. Jasper pretty much lives on the California Naturals & a little bit of Chicken Soup kibble, and Blaze sometimes will only eat Friskies. Blaze also gets Now kibble (only one he'll eat) and Blacky gets Wellness Core kibble so they aren't on wet food only. I can get Felidae from one store at 1.75 so I'm really thinking of switching to it instead of California Naturals chicken version, which comes in at 1.75 as well if I buy a case, and 1.79 if not. I don't really know if one brand is better than the other, so for now they get lots of random variety. ![]() |
