Ok, so I rescued Sylvester.Yeap I named him like that. He has been here since last wednesday, the problem is that he farts a lot, ohhh and they really stink.
![]() I thougt my husband's farts where there worst, but Sylvester he really takes the throne. I wonder why? Maybe he has worms? Or it could be the food? I am worried now. I will make an appointment to give him his shots, and maybe ask the vet? He is a cutie though ![]()

I've had adopters from our shelter say they can make gassy kitties feel better by adding a very little (1/2 teaspoon or so) of plain yogurt to their meal time.

Could be something in the food that doesn't agree with him. My one cat Anna use to dart terrible before I found out she had a grain intolerance. I mean I'd have to leave the room it was so horrible. Lol

OMG! What a subject! Our Annie had terrible gas and really stank up the room. Couple that with horrendous breath and she was just a mess BUT, she was the most lovable, loving cat I think I've ever had. Funny faace (almost a peke face like a Persian), bad breath, snored, farts. sheesh!!

Boo was like that when we first got her, she made me gag! we put it down to her having a sensitive tummy, we added a probiotic to her diet and kept her on a food with no corn. it has near enough eliminated them.

Pipin was real nervouse in the car on his ride from the shelter. He farted like crazy. Of course they feed their cats Fancy Feast which is the smelliest catfood ever. He might just be farting because he's in a new environment and is getting used to stuff. Give him a week, and change his wet food to Wellness or Natural Balance. Use Wellness dry also my cat loves the stuff.

my last kitten did that, and i'd never had a farty cat before. he had been dewormed a couple of times and i also changed his food. i think that was the problem, because it mostly stopped, but if one of my cats is going to stink-bomb the house, it's him. he can do some doozies. they're usually one time things so i just spray air-freshener and forget about it.

Lmao as I'm reading this Yuki jumped up right next to me and let one rip! Hers really stink too. I've fed her Orijin ever since I got her 4 years ago and she's always been that way. I bought a book on Bengals from a Bengal breeder and it seems they often have touchy digestive tracts which I've found to be true. From what I've read, it's normal for cats to have stinky farts. They're carnivores and protein causes that.
