Hi guys! Another question about Lenny!
I know some guys clean their kitties teeth twice a week, since we got him we haven't done this atall and he lets us feel his teeth when he is sleepy (otherwise presumes we are playing and then we can't get near) but they aren't smooth like expected they are rough, they are pearly white and no redness on gums so no issues.. Yet! What do you guys use to brush there teeth? Little tooth brushes or those rubber ones that go on your finger (I'm from the uk but presume products like this is sold world wide!) also how often? Some places say everyday like humans! Lenny eats royal canin dry kitten food and a pouch of whiskers kitten food mixed, we have petsathome over here so don't know if you know them or know any good products to use? What a cute little clown he is!
If Lenny lets you brush his teeth, that's great. My kitties don't tolerate having my fingers near their mouths, so I don't brush their teeth at all. I'm not worried about gingivitis either. They have regular check-ups, and in the 11 years I've had them, each has had her teeth scaled twice, So the amount of stress it would cause them (and me) for me to brush their teeth isn't worth it for me. I'd rather just have their teeth cleaned every 5-6 years. |
