Himalayan cat lifespan

How long do most Himalayan male cats live up to? Mine is almost 16 years old. I been feeding it with Science Diet Mature Indoor cat food for years since I got him when he was 7 years old. Could my cat live up to at least 20 or more?

Perhaps, I've had two purebred Manx that lived to 18+ yrs. My neighbor had a black and white domestic shorthair that lived to 22yrs. on dry kibble plus mice and other rodents, birds, he found outside to eat.

Oldest living cat: Scooter, a 30-year-old Siamese cat from Mansfield, Texas had been named the world's oldest cat. Scooter celebrated his 30th birthday on 26th March 2016. Edit: It would seem that just days after being named world's oldest cat, Scooter sadly passed away.

Oldest Cat: The oldest cat was Creme Puff of Austin, Texas. Born on August 3, 1967, Creme Puff passed away in August 2005 at the age of 38!

I believe it depends more on genetics than breed. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but if you are feeding him a good diet and keeping him indoors and getting prompt medical attention for issues that crop us, his lifespan will probably be long. No guarantees, but it sounds like you are doing right by him.
