Default Wet Cat foods in Ontario

Hey all, i was just wondering if you could reccomend some good wet cat foods, here in canada, prefferably in ontario.

I've posted something liekt his beore, and you guys were really helpfull, except that I had never heard of most of the brands and can't find them here... I know how to read labels though, but i'm usually really busy and don't have time to stand in the middle of the aisle reading everything...

Thanks!

Default wet foods

Nutro pouches i can find in ontario. (i'm from belleville) I can find them in the regular pet store. although they are kind of expensive when you can find better. I think from what i've read I can get wellness here, but i haven't checked out the store yet. Do you have like a non-chain store where you live? or close? I know we have pet-cetera and super pet here which are chain stores. but I found wellness and a non chain petstore

If you have an idea of the foods that you want you can go to there websites. Most if not all have a search function and you can search for stores in your area that sell their product. I know brands like Wellness, Petgaurd, Felindae, ect. have a list. They typically give store name, address, and phone number. HTH

I found a really great pet store here in Milton, but that is REALLY far from Tecumseh!

They carry:
Felidae
Innova
Nutro
California Natural
Merrick
Solid Gold
Evolve
Natural Balance, but only dry.
Eagle Pack
Wellness

...........I'm forgetting some for sure, but pretty much everything you can think of. It is this tiny little pet store, but it's stuffed with SO much. It's cat food shopping heaven (or **** if you spend as much as I do!).

All i can really find near me is

Eukanuba
Friskies
Our Compliments ( no name brand)
PD
Iams
Meow Mix

and like one or two others. They are mostly all dry foods too :S They aren't that great either... and we only have Patsmart as a chain, the others are single stores that pretty much sell the same

edit: I just went online to Petsmart.com and they said they carry fancy feast, authority, science diet and sheeba foods... but i don't recal seeing them at my petsmart here in Windsor... maybe i should take a better look, but are any of these good? No one has mentioned them...

I go to Ryans Pet Foods - there is one in Chatham which is a bit closer to you than any of us are:

http://www.globalpetfoods.ca/frameset.html - there is a list on their website so u might be in the area of one of them at some point.

In addition to pet stores you might see if there are any feed stores in your area. I've had pretty good luck with both brands and prices at them in the US.

As for wet food, geez I wouldnt suggest any of those brands, keep looking! Most Canadian petsmarts carry premium wet such as Wellness, Nutro or Innova. All three are great.

The dryfood I would suggest out of those brands you mentioned would be Eukanuba, it is a premium brand product with the main ingredient being meat and has high content of Omega fatty acids which will make your cats coat and skin look great and its also very palitable (most cats like it)

Hi Ashdyre I just did a quick search on the Wellness and Felindae websites for pet stores in the Ontario area and found at least 15 stores that sell both those products. I'll post a couple of links for you all you have to do is go to store locator and type in area code or postal code and the store names will come up.
