Rarepuss: I personally, really wouldn't leave any food out that long for your cat. Wet or Dry.
Not only then do you have to worry about things getting into it, or growing on it, but it also can go stale, I wouldn't want to eat stale food. But that's just me. |

Also, with dry food, it doesn't stay dry when it's left out. If nothing else, it gets some cat saliva on it when the cat eats. As soon as dry food gets moisture in it, it can have bacteria growing in it.
