I feed a wide variety which basically are the ones that all three of my cats decided they ALL would eat. I finally got him to eat some low quality whiskas choice cuts. Once he is introduced into the household I will try and get him to switch over to the food my others eat.....I'm crossing my fingers hoping!

My cats love dry food and have never accepted wet food. My kitten will eat anything, but my older one won't. I've had other cats eat dry only and I've never had any problems. Just make sure that water is available at all times and provide a good quality dry food.

Shelly, you can only do so much. Sounds like this guy is really lucky to have found you.
I think it's great that you got him to eat that wet food, even if it isn't the best quality. At least it will get him used to eating wet food overall and then hopefully it will make it easier to transition him onto something a little more healthy. You're doing great. Let us know what the vet says about the little guy. |
