Default How is this dry food?

I currently have Nya on a wet food diet, she gets mostly wellness canned. Unfortunatley as a student, on a student budget, I really can't afford to maintain this. (unless I get the job at the holistic pet food store where i buy her food, the manager/owner seems to really like me, keep your fingers crossed!) I've been looking to increase the amount of dry food in her diet, with a premium dry, since it is more cost effective, but I havn't decided.

The manager of the store gave me a sample of this food to try her on, and see if she'll eat it (she refuses most dry right now). It's called "Go Natural"

Chicken Meal, Chicken Meat, Whole Brown Rice, Whole White Rice, Hulless Barley, Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols (vit E), citric acid (vit C) and Rosemary extract), Natural Chicken Flavour, Salmon Meal, Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran, Ground Flax, Dried Whole Potatoes, Dried Whole Carrots, Dried Whole Apples, Dried Whole Cranberries, Dried Whole Eggs, Alfalfa, Bee Pollen, Amaranth, Potassium Chloride, Phosphoric Acid, Choline Chloride, Potassium Sorbate, Kelp, Yucca Schidegera, Taurine, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol (Vit. D), Vitamin E 9 d alpha-tocopherol acetate), Ferrous Sulphate, Zinc Oxide, Niacin, Copper Sulphate, Manganous Oxide, Calcium Pantothenate, Sodium Selenite, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Biotin, Menadione Sodium Bisulphate Complex (Source of Vitamin K), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin B12, Calcium Iodate, Folic Acid.

the website is www.petcurean.com

I like the idea of feeding this food, since it's a canadian company, but I havn't looked at prices or anything yet... let me know what you think!

I think this is the same food I saw on sale on an endcap at the pet store today when I went to buy some food. I checked it out and thought it looked like a pretty good food. Is it in 2.5 lb bags? The list of ingredients looks quite good.

I didn't buy any because I have plenty on hand that needs to get eaten.

If you decide to try it, let us know what you think.

Can you post the protein percentages, etc. from the side of the bag?
It seems a little higher than it could be in carbs, but the ingredients do look pretty good.

I am in Ontario too and its the same grade as Wellness. Wellness is more here because it comes from the US. I bought GO and FOUNDATIONS and my cats will only eat the SUMMIT. Go figure! Im not complaingthough $ wise. I have 4 cats and it costs me roughly $42 a month for 17 lbs of it.
FROMM is also a great choice.
Best of luck and it is an EXCELLENT food. Did you try Summit? It is cheaper than go.

It looks pretty good. If you want to support the local companies, i'd give it a whirl.
