I guess it could be done IF the tooth was really so rotten, but in my years of nursing I have never seen it done, in my opinion it would be inhumane as it would cause pain, not to mention the stress of being restrained for such a procedure, all cats receiving dental work at my practice get a full general anaesthetic...
