Default Kitten weight?

I know that there is not an exact weight, but I was wondering what an average or normal weight would be a 9 month old female tabby . If you have or had a kitten this age, what was their weight? Also when do cats become full-grown? I have had cats before, but never kittens. I was curious. Thanks for any help you can give!!

the rule of thumb is 1 lb per month, but it depends a lot on your kitten's build, nutrition, breed, gender and other things. If it's 5 - 12 lbs it's in the ballpark for 9 months.

edit -> forgot your other question. I haven't raised any cats to maturity, still working on it, but I understand from reading that at that age they should be about 80% full grown. Gradual growth from that point on up to two years, and from what was pointed out to me recently, growth can come in spurts instead of steady growth.

Thanks Timskitties- I am getting ready to adopt a kitten and she is 5 lbs. I just thought that was small, but I guess it is pretty normal. Thanks for you help!
