I know that there is not an exact weight, but I was wondering what an average or normal weight would be a 9 month old female tabby . If you have or had a kitten this age, what was their weight? Also when do cats become full-grown? I have had cats before, but never kittens. I was curious. Thanks for any help you can give!!

the rule of thumb is 1 lb per month, but it depends a lot on your kitten's build, nutrition, breed, gender and other things. If it's 5 - 12 lbs it's in the ballpark for 9 months.
edit -> forgot your other question. I haven't raised any cats to maturity, still working on it, but I understand from reading that at that age they should be about 80% full grown. Gradual growth from that point on up to two years, and from what was pointed out to me recently, growth can come in spurts instead of steady growth. |
