I have a boy cat, and a girl cat, and this new kitten now.
We got the kitten from a friend, not a vet. We were told it was a boy, but after, *ahem* ... "examination" I think it looks like a girl. On my male cat he kinda has a little ... thingy ... and on my girl cat it looks WAY more like the kittens parts. Are there any other distinctive features how I can tell if it is a boy or girl? Or should I just wait and see if any "fuzzy dice" drop? The kitten is about 12 weeks. When would his "male" parts come if it is a male?!?! Thanks, I am really confused.

at that age, the testicles of a male should be visible.
here's one website with some pictures: http://www.thepetcenter.com/exa/kitx.html it's not the one I came across the other day, which had a better explanation, but I couldn't find it just right now. I hope this helps. |
