Depends on size... but cats don't usually drink much water on their own. If you feed dry food only, chances are your cat is partially dehydrated, maybe not enough to notice, but enough to have an impact on health over his/her lifetime.
Cats are carnivores and are meant to get most (if not all) of their water intake from their food. If you aren't for feeding a raw meat diet, canned is much healthier than dry by far. Also, a pet fountain might be a worthwhile investment. They're usually around $20-30 and the flowing water stimulates cats to drink more (they don't like stagnant water).

I'd suggest refilling it as often as you think about it, just to make sure she's actually drinking it and it isn't evaporating... if she drinks it dry, she might want more!

If you believe one of the cat waterer websites, they drink a pint a day. I find that a little hard to believe! http://tinyurl.com/5we4m

yeah, I don't think it's that much. with 3 cats and 2 fountains, I go through about 2/3 of a reservoir in a day, but some of that is evaporation. I'm guessing there's probably about a pint in the reservoir.
