First off this is my first post and I found this site googling to find out why my cat has zig zag lines around his eyes,I mean in his eyes, and not the patterns in his fur.
Thunderbelly lived out in the wild for 2 years before I finally got him in and now he just eats and lives the good life. The odd time when I can get him into a big hug and look in his eyes without him clawing the heck out of me that is. I noticed black zig zag lines around the outside of his eyes the other day and wonder if I should be concerned. He's a huge 6 year old tabby, I can see a zig zag pattern around each eye. Any help would be appreciated. Dont want to lose another good buddy. |

If it's in both eyes, it could be just part of his eye pattern... it's hard for me to picture what you're describing, so it's hard to say. Where is it in relation to the pupil?
I tried to look into Nya's eyes to see if I could see something in her eyes that might lead to an answer, but her pupils are HUGE right now, so no luck, sorry

It's all around the outside of the eyeball but inside the eyeball(that make any sense)?just the part you would see if you pulled his lids back a tad.The pattern is perfectly angled and is in both eyes.
Looks like a lightening bolt. Very strange,he's healthy and other than his penchent for pulling "chows" out of his bowl one at a time and eating too much,he seems fairly normal as far as cats go. So I'm thinking it's a genetic thing.(hope)Strange. And thanks for the fast reply, you dont know how much I appreciate it. |
