Consider that cats are naturally low to the ground -exactly where you're supposed to go to escape smoke during a fire. Unless the cats were perched up on a shelf, it's likely they didn't even breathe any smoke.

It might... but you don't just get banned from the kitchen... its quite possible that you may get banished to the sofa as well... and have to cope with the argument and the fact that it will be held over your head for the rest of your life

that's funny.

Well, I sprayed the apartment with the soda and lemon and water yesterday. I think it helped.

Today is much better and I have a feeling that in few days we won't smell anything.

We just got home from our new house....we used the lemon juice and baking soda on the walls with a sponge mop.
When I dumpoed that water out....it was nasty burnt yellow!
YUCK.....when we go back again we will be able to better tell how good it wokred.
