In Sugar Pie's left ear, there is a small patch of little red sores which looks like some kind of rash. I searched through some threads for a similar problem like this but came up empty handed, though i may have missed one. He has been scratching at his ear for a couple of weeks and I was wondering if I needed to make a vet visit or not ? I was hoping maybe i could purchase some over the counter treatment for him but I guess i need a correct diagnosis first. Which would probably be the vet.
He is indoor cat only. The rash is more towards the point in his ear and visible without having to try to see it, except when his long ear hair gets in the way. Thanks for any advice you guys may have !

It's only been one day of eardrops and she already shuts her ear as soon as she sees me. Let me know if you figure out a good technique. |
