Info Needed

Hi All.

I was just looking at my female cat's eyes this morning and noticed that she had dark brown hard discharge in the inside corner of her eye. So I then opened her lids up looking inside and I notice that the brown stuff is all the way around the eye on both eyes. I have never really seen this before...just a lil yuck in the corners but nothing this ugly.

Anyone have any clue what this is??

If its all around like that it sounds like an infection, best thing any of us can advise is take the cat to the vet, sometimes it can be a sign of an underlying problem.

Thanks for moving it whoever did that..

We have been watching for the green/yellowish stuff that looks like infection but it really doesn't look like that..who knows.

I am taking the dog to the vet tonight so I will see what the vet has to say I guess.

even if it is brown, a lot of gunk in the eye like that isnt normal.

Well we just got the puppy last week and they all (4 cats) have not made friends yet..lol! So I would see that as a hospital bill along with a huge vet bill. Thanks for the advice Tim!
