How come kitten food always come in tiny containers? It is so unfair. I want to buy them in bigger containers (bigger bags and bigger cans) to save money but it is not possible. I have five kittens.

I would wager it's because most people don't have five kittens, and they're marketing to the mainstream. If you purchase kitten food that's available at feed shops, such as the Chicken Soup line, you'll often find bigger bags because those shops are marketing to the country crowd. But in grocery stores and at your typical vet offices, they won't likely carry bulk, particularly in the more expensive foods.
Just my thought on it. |

I suppose I'm part of the mass marketing aim, because I always wish that they would all come in 3oz cans b/c my cat won't eat anymore than half a can per meal (2 wet food meals, freefeed dry) and if i refridgerate it for more than a day she won't touch it... even if i microwave it.. picky kitty.. although I suppose a happy kitty is worth more than saving $ buying in bulk
