Can you give them both parts of the egg raw, both the yolk and white? I saw this on another forum and the nutritional advisor was aghast at the thought of giving cats raw egg white?!

I read somewhere NOT to give the white but ONLY the yellow yoke. Sorry I have no idea where I read it but they didn't give a reason in any case, just the instruction on which part was okay.
I wonder how people feed this? Stir it into the food or? What about hard boiled and chopped?? Either or? I'd like to try this but looking for ideas on how it's done exactly. |

Here is an article that explains why raw egg white is not a good idea for anyone on a regular basis:

Very informative article, if you're not using it in some kind of recipe i guess you can feed it raw just by itself or mixed with wet food but very little amount, i use one raw egg yolk in a raw diet mixture that last 8 days or more.

My babes get whole raw egg as an occasional treat, without problem. Don't worry about the white. After all, a feral/wild cat would certainly not leave the white and just eat the yolk! My cats just get their eggs cracked into a bowl, my dogs get a whole egg to play with - a 'breakable ball'
