Default Different water fountain

While in Petsmart today I came across this pet water fountain I haven't seen before:

Click here for the product description of "The Bubbler"

Apparently it bubbles air through the water. Anybody have any experience with one of these?

I haven't had experience with it. It sounds interesting, though.

I did notice that the link you posted says "Item out of Stock"...there must be something to it!

" Large capacity reservoir holds 1.5 gallons (6 liters) of water "

I like that bigger capacity as I have three cats.

" oxygen inhibits growth of bacteria for cleaner water and bowl. "

Real or just a sale's pitch? One cat alway is drooling food into the water dish.

" UL-listed 110V, 60Hz quiet-operating air pump and tubing "

Could one build this for a temporary till their in stock again? That could be a way to see if the cat is going to take to it too, before spending all that $.
