Default 3 weeks old!

kittens are 3 weeks old now. I just have a question. Is it normal that they stay with their mouth open and their tongue showing?

No, that doesn't sound normal. You might re-post this in the health and nutrition board, you could get some better advice over there.

It isn't normal that they breathe through their mouths all the time, if so I would probably think they had some kind of chest infection...

Their mouth is not wide open or anything. It's just that you can see a little bit of their tongue all the time, not the inside of the mouth. It's a bit hard to explain. How can I post a picture to explain better cos I cant find a way?

Thanks

If I understand right, you're saying that the kitten is sticking its tongue out the front of its mouth. Hmmmmm, well, don't know much about kittens, but I have two adult cats that do that from time to time. Are you saying that this kitten has his tongue sticking out ALL the time?

The instructions for posting pics are in a couple stickies in this forum: http://www.catforum.com/viewforum.php?f=14
