Well, the test came back positive for FIV. We are still waiting to hear back on the FIP test. We decided to put her down on Friday. We didn't want her to suffer any more. I really miss her. She was the sweetest kitty. I hate that she was having trouble. But, we have another cat so we have to get him tested and hope that he didn't get infected. Fingers crossed.

Sorry she had to go all through that, hopefully she can have some peace now, I wish you the best.

And you've taught alot of folks what symptoms to look for, bless you.

I've been silently following and I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I hope your other one is O.K.
Very best of luck!

Default Test results for our other cat

We got our other cat tested. The results came back with a positive titer. But, the vet said that she expected him to have a slight one and that we should not automatically assume he will develop FIP. She said that we should monitor him and do another test in 6 months to see if there is any increase. So, we are feeling pretty good. Loui is a very healthy kitty and he is getting more adjusted at being the only kitty in the house. We're spoiling him!
