So Fry has been fine, but today he threw up bile...again. We're taking him to the vet. I'm not sure what's going on. This poor guy. He just can't keep anything out his mouth. I don't know what he's put in his mouth this time, but for whatever reason, he is throwing up bile again. Granted, he may have not swallowed anything. But, he threw up once, we're monitoring him and I"m planning ot take him to the vet as soon as get home. I am so scared. We don't have the $2000 to spend again. And, on top of all of that, even if we spend the money on his procedures again, who's to say he won't put something in his mouth again? I'm so scared and I'm not sure what to do.

Oh no. Sorry to hear about Fry. Hopefully it is nothing serious this time. Cats are so curious it is so hard to keep everything out of their reach. I would go around the whole place and try to keep it as safe as possible for him. You don't need any more vet bills! Hopefully he won't throw up anymore. I'll cross my fingers.

Thanks, RockysMom.
I called the vet and she told me to watch him overnight. She also told me to withhold all food until tomorrow morning and to administer fluids subcutaneously. We tried to administer the fluids, of course--that didn't work again. |
