Default My cat has a hard nipple!

Sounds daft but my cat has a hard nipple. He loves having his tummy rubbed but one nipple seems so hard like it might snap. It doesn't seem to bother him but I can't help thinking its not quite right...do you think this is anything to worry about?
Thanks for all your help!

Trust your instinct and call his Vet to see what they recommend,

I hate to suggest breast cancer, but on the outside chance anyone could get it,

better to set the mind at ease.

I agree with CD. Better to get it checked out.

Yup, definitely have that checked. Not a normal thing. Hopefully it's just a benign tumor, but could be something bad.

Definitely have it checked out. My Dad's cat of 18 years just died of breast cancer a couple months ago. Cats can get that. Let us know what you find out.

Hmmm... my cat has this too, and has been checked by the vet numerous times. Never for this, though.
