Default looking for somthing that is a rarity in my country and could use some global eyes

i know that the people here are from all around the globe and i am looking for something quite rare so i thought it would be worth asking.

A fellow breeder and I were talking recently and we both observed that nowhere in the states were we seeing red series old style Siamese or Balinese cats, it seems as though they have almost completely disappeared from this country. on that note though their are alot of smaller breeders around the world that don't make their presence known enough to find by going to cat shows or searching the web. he and i agreed that we are going to resurrect the old style red point between the two of us so my question is this. if you know anyone with a purebred red, cream, apricot or tortie point applehead Siamese or Balinese could you please let me know and maybe connect us? right now we are hunting down existing lines so that we know what we will have to work with because otherwise we will have to breed in modern Siamese for the color and then work on type later

i know their are plenty of people who are anti breeder and i am really not looking for drama

thank you in advance for any help

Just a reminder to those responding, we don't allow advertising for breeders here, so please pass this information on via PM's. Thanks!

Have you tried whatever governing feline organization you belong too? TICA or the CFA for example would be able to help you hunt down what you are looking for couldn't they?

I know in the dog world you could go to the AKC and have a better chance of finding a reputable breeder and then be able to narrow down types from there...

I am not totally familiar with purebreds, but this is the "red" mixed guy I am currently fostering.

Even 'modern' Siamese breeders get non show quality, older style cats show up in their litters sometimes that would perhaps be suitable for your program.

Hope you find what you're looking for, there are only a couple of Thai/Old Style breeders over here and they don't do reds either.
