My GF's cat Coatie, was an applehead chocolate point. Coatie was the one who started me down the Bali ownership path

I really must take better pictures of Lacey, but she is also an apple head, or traditional Seal Point Balinese:

I need to send in the paper (with the fee), but I have the certificate for the CFA. She is spayed so it's not so important to me, but she has her papers and stuff.

It's funny since you would probably know...what is the average weight range of your females? I just took Lacey to the Vet last week and she came in at 6 lbs 14 oz, which is perfect for her. The reason I ask is because she was supposed to be a future queen, and the reason she was sold to me was because the breeder thought she would've been too small to bear kittens...just curious to see if this was actually true. In May, she will be 2 so she's definitely full grown. She's just long and thin.

As far as not favoring old style vs the wedge, I am with you. To me, I don't like to see animals selectively modified through breeding to the point that it is unnatural. For dogs this is more prominent, but once the animal can't breathe properly or support it's own weight...come on!

She looks just like Coatie, except a little darker As to papers, I never filed Franklin's, as he is now neutered and I don't care. Franny's were already filed. She was once known as Jocette and was a show cat. In fact she was the #1 CFA Balinese in the country in 2008. Now she's just Franny

I am sure she is much happier as Franny How much does she weigh? Curious as to the reason I stated in my last post.

As of Saturday's vet visit she weighs 8 pounds 12 ounces. I think that's near the upper end for female bali's. Franklin is 8 pounds 6 ounces which is the middle/low end of the male range.
