Very Scared!

Where I live they are calling for some really bad storms Wednesday and I live in a mobile home and will more than likely have to get out of it. Problem is I cannot take my cats with me...I am really scared.

I am in middle Georgia and feel the same way...we are on the second floor of an apartment :/

Are there any friends/neighbors that you are near that would let you stick your cats in the bathroom or something? At the very least, have their carrier nearby in case you need to scoop them up. Ours in hanging out in the middle of the living room right now

I don't have enough carriers for that...My only hope is that they will be OK I don't know what else to do at this point. I just hope nothing happens to them I don't think I could live with myself if it does.

omg. I'm so sorry! I will definitely PRAY for you all! I've never been in this kind of danger but have had nightmares about leaving my cats behind and just couldn't do it. I hope if you do have to leave temporarily (and praying as well that it would be for a very short time if you did), then can you leave the necessities out for them? food, water, etc?

Can you call some shelters and see if they have made arrangements for animals that will be displaced if you need to evacuate? Maybe you could place them ahead of time if needed?

Can you get temporary cardboard carriers from the local shelters?

Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

Thanks for all the responses folks...We have one more round and its over. Most of the severe stuff stayed to our South so that was good for us but not for those affected. I hate Spring time! Come on Summer!
