The kitties of my household got a cat tree!

My Grandmother gave me a gift card to a pet store which I used towards the cat tree.

It looks as if they're happy with it, but I find it so interesting that cats seem to know when something is for them. And the smaller cat takes the crowsnest spot. How long did it take them to start using it?

The kitten (Gadget) started using it the first night. He loves the thing.

We are trying to get the older one (Oreo) to use it more.

Exact same cat tree I got my cat. And it's very well-used!

If you can, might want to consider putting it near a window.

I ordered a new Cat tree for my girls before Christmas and they loved it. Mine new the tree was for them when it was still in the box, no clue how they know when stuff is for them but they always do. Haha

My cats generally just assume everything is for them, from kitty toys to blankets to coffee tables to sandwiches. They think everything that comes through our door exists solely for their amusement. Cal will literally take food out of your mouth if you let him...and sometimes he'll try even if you're doing your best not to let him.

They might be a little spoiled. For two cats who were picked up off the street, they sure caught onto the concept of "entitlement" awfully quickly, lol.
