Duchess has warmed up as well- i caught hr quietly come down the stairs the other day to check out what the other cats are up to . She still prefers the upstairs bedrooms- that is ok. She LOVES her food so she is a cat I have to watch how much she eats since she goes and eats from Kurt's bowl as well- Duchess is fed on my dresser to keep the dogs from enjoying her food but Kurt is no jumper and needs his bowl ground level- good thing nobody minds sharing. I look forward to when duchess and Kurt will eat in the kitchen with the rest of the cats and go into the basement for their litter duty- right now, I have two pans in the bedrooms and 4 in the basement( for just 4 cats) I scoop daily to avoid smells in the bedroom- super scoop works great-
I can't believe we adopted 2 cats a week a part but everybody is adjusting- maybe not play pals but no fights- occasional hiss from our oldest resident letting the new comers know she is top cat- I hope I never need the services of Cat Daddy, although watching his show gave me the tools to introduce the cats peacefully and i have not scratching issues with our nice big cat condo- sisal up the sides works better than cardboard or carpet
