A friend is mine is a rescuer/foster and occasionally brings in strays. The other day, her boyfriend found a tortie (about 1 year old) at a construction site he's working at and naturally brought her home. Lol.

I've been interviewing in a nearby city and hope to move there with a job/my own place in the next couple weeks (fingers crossed!!) and I've told her I'd they don't find an owner, I will gladly take her and compensate her for any vet bills incurred while she has her. She's taking her for a checkup and spay soon.

I feel like its meant to be! I've been wanting a tortie and she finds this gorgeous girl right while this change in my life is happening. Now all I need is to land this job..




PS.. I don't know how these pictures will show. I'm posting from my phone and these are photos she sent me last night. I'll be meeting her soon and I'll take some more.

Thank you. my friend says she's extremely loving and cuddly (perfect for me) and likes to sleep next to her and her boyfriend's heads at night. I want her more with every update. Lol. And she is giving me lots of updates.

They named her Sushi. Which I'll probably keep because I find it adorable.

Good Luck! I know how hard it is to wait for a cat. When I met Miss Moose I had to wait a whole week to adopt her. I put in an adoption form so no one else could get her, but I still called every day to check and make sure she was still available. My boyfriend was getting her as my Christmas present and wanted to meet her to make sure she was a good fit. He didn't love her at first, but now he coos over her and talks to her all the time.

Good luck with the interview, the new place and the new kitty! I will keep you in my thoughts and send out tons of good vibes!
