Hello, here is my formal introduction

My name is Mareena and I live in Loudonville (Albany), New York with my mom and (until recently) a gray and white domesticated short haired male cat. We are Irish radio hosts on the air for 19 years in this area. (my mom and dad had an Irish radio show called "Proud to be Irish" for 7 years in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.) My dad started the show in Albany - also "Proud to be Irish" in 1992 and I joined in December of that year.

Mom and I have hosted "Proud to be Irish" together ever since my father passed away in 2004. It's very popular.

Also in Dennisport, Cape Cod and Albany, New York my parents owned two Irish restaurants called "Eamonn's".

Mom and I are avid readers, love meeting new people and laughing. We also love animals, with a penchant for stray cats. We hope to adopt three female tabbies soon!
