So the other day I hear the Billy Idol version on the local Classic Rock station and I think...how sad is it that I remember when the original (Tommy James and the Shondells) was popular and now the remake is considered a classic! Dang I'm old!!!
But the #1 song on my birthday is definitely cool one...Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin.

Mine was Sledgehammer by... someone I don't know. Too bad, there were a few songs on my birthday in other years of the 80's that I like. Also, I should've been born in October, not July. Oh well.
