Cat tattoo

I hope that I'm posting this in the right section!

For Christmas, I asked my husband to take me to get a memorial tattoo for Miss Stink. Does anyone else here have any cat-related tattoos (memorial or otherwise)?

I don't have one yet, but plan to get one. I have a couple others, but none cat related.

The one I want will be on my ankle. Will be cat eyes with marquis cut gemstones (like my engagement ring) for pupils. The whiskers will wrap around to the back where they will form entwined tails with a paw print in between. I have it drawn out. Maybe I'll try to scan it. I feel like I'm not describing it very well, lol.

I don't have cat tatts but this Friday coming is my appointment for my memorial tattoo for my dog. I booked my appointment in September, appt is Nov 30 lol So maybe you should figure out what you want (or some idea, I gave my pic to the artist and told him to be creative but realistic) and book your appointment!!

I’ve always wanted one of my dog that past 15 years ago, but I just don’t trust artists that do portraits because I’ve seen so many bad ones. I truly loved my dog that was born 7-7-77 more than any other animal I’ve ever had. I still dream of him were he’s in the distance waiting for me, then I wake up realizing he not here. I know he will be there waiting there for me when I die.

Wow I got all choked up just thinking about him and had to run outside for a moment. Maybe I shouldn’t get one because I surly don’t want that to happen every time I think of him

@Oliver - You should upload a picture of your tattoo when you get it! I want to see it!

@builder - I know what you mean. Miss Stink passed a little under a month ago and I dream about her all of the time. She was my soul mate friend and I will never have a connection to another pet like I had with her. I pray that she'll be there to greet me when it's my time to leave this world.

I'm not going to get a portrait because they are so iffy - they are either amazing or horrible, and I would be devastated if it turned out bad. I'm going for more of a classic sumi e ink painting kind of look.

I am too afraid to get a realistic portrait! lol I told him to be creative but I want to not be cartoonish or too detailed. I trust him, I seen his work on the studio albums. One of the other artists there does portraits and my jaw dropped at it! lol She was so good.

If I could think of a way to get one that's small enough to look good I'd get one added near my daisy tattoo but as yet I have not :-/
