Default Holy birds Batman!!

So hubby comes into the kitchen and is looking out the window with this strange look on his face. I look out the window and the garage is COVERED with these birds. I went outside, all you could hear was their chirping - it was loud! LOL

Any ideas as to what they are? There had to be a thousand of them in the trees around the house. I counted over a hundred just on my trees and garage. WOW!

The cats were all perched on the dining room table at the open window just watching the birds - itching to go play with them lol

They are beautiful birds! I've certainly never seen them before so I don't have a clue. I can imagine my gang looking at them, drooling

I think they're cedar waxwings. I'm not really a bird expert though.

Cedar Waxwing. We get them here sometimes too, when they are passing through. They eat mostly fruits and berries.

I don't know what it was they were eating, but there was something on the garage roof that had their interest. They're still hanging around, but only about 20 or 30 at a time now.

They are such pretty birds! I had only seen one before - last summer at the botanical gardens. Apparently I don't go outside much lol
