The healthcare industry is stable and growing. Being a CA would offer you a much more secure future.

At this point you really don't have a decision to make...you haven't been offered the CA job. Go do the shadowing and see if they offer it to you. Then you need to decide what you want to do with your life...do you want a position that could lead to a "career" or do you want a "job"? Recognizing what each of those buys you...you may have to compromise in one area to get what you want in another.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the replies. I will let you know what happens. Tomorrow I job shadow and horse work starts wednesday so I have some considering to do.

Went to the job shadowing at the chiropractor. They also tested me on typing skills and another job related test. I do not think this job is a good match for me and unless they offer a phenominal wage to start, I will be passing it and taking the foal watching job.

I am happy to have had the opportunity and grateful to have any job.
