We got a snowblower!! Yay! Snowed 14 inches at our house yesterday so it was very useful and appreciated!

...hate you. (jk)

I'll measure the snow when I get home...after another 1 1/2 hour drive >...and let you know how much we got. St. Albert was reporting 18 inches yesterday around 6pm when it was still snowing.

Winter is here, and I HATE it

I know, it is a lot of snow...we got slammed. The rain before the snow was a nice tough from Mother Nature too

Becky, whatever you do, if you decide to take 17 street over to Baseline from Yellowhead...just don't. It's all rutted and full of washboard ice from the trucks. I have to take it everyday and its horrendous. I can't go more than 20 kph or I'll spin out.

Happy thread...right... LOL. I have tomorrow off, going to look for winter tires for the beast (which is finally fixed - that's the happiest news ever!)

Niece is coming to spend the weekend - we are going to decorate a gingerbread house and make chocolates. Very excited

We are going to Va. for the weekend to visit friends. I have to admit that I will worry about the kitties the whole time

Had my work Christmas party tonight. I don't usually partake in the alcoholic festivities, but tonight I decided to let loose and have some fun. I lost count at around my 5th drink....tomorrow I'm gonna hurt ha ha.

It was my five year anniversary and my boss said a nice speech and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I love my job and (most of) my co-workers. That could be the alcohol talking though.

I am going to go cuddle with my kitties and hopefully sleep my hangover off......goodnight all

Last year we went to the Calgary Expo and got to meet some sci-fi actors and had a great time. We met Amanda Tapping, Adam Baldwin and Patrick Stewart, along with some others.

Well....I just bought our tickets online and we're going again!! YAHOO!! April can't come fast enough

This year they have Wierd Al Yankovic, Stan Lee and Michael Shanks. So excited...hopefully they add more Stargate people - that would make it WONDERFUL!!

Yes, I am a geek and proud of it LOL

Got a new cell phone today!!! The old one kept randomly rebooting and it could hardly hold a charge. So tired of my phone always being dead!

Got me a Samsung Galaxy S3...normally $199, but Best Buy had a deal of the day yesterday for $49.99 and I had a $5 reward coupon. So I grabbed it for $44.99.
