Now there's a picture going around of Obama holding a book called "The Post-American World". They're claiming it was written by a Muslim and is about how he is going to ruin the US. The book is actually written by a Indian American author.
I got this from Wikipedia: In the book, Zakaria argues that, thanks to the actions of the United States in spreading liberal democracy across the world, other countries are now competing with the US in terms of economic, industrial, and cultural power. While the US continues to dominate in terms of political-military power, other countries such as China and India are becoming global players in many fields.

When I voted in the primary elections, it was at a church and there were just those cardboard voting booths all sitting in a row. I picked up my purse when it was time to go, it got hooked on the bottom of the booth, knocked over mine, the one next to mine and the next one down the line.
I wanted the earth to swallow me up. Thankfully, the place was almost empty, and the woman working there said, "Oh, Honey, you're not the first person to do that today." I vote by mail now.

They really need to get voting online, in this day and age it's ridiculous that it's not. I had to stand there and color in the little ovals like I was taking a test.

I got notices about where to vote and they all said something about papers ballots, which I've never used - I've always (20+ years and 3 different locales) had the old-fashioned booths with the lever. I was scoffing at the backwardness. But when I got to my polling place (a Masonic lodge, btw - weird), it was touch screen booths. Very cool.

Voting by mail and places that don't require ID are at risk for fraud too. And I'm sure there's enough technology to make it anonymous.
