Wish I could tell you; I've been able to watch about 20 minutes of football and zero minutes of game recaps - total - this whole season, even though I play fantasy.
 I don't even know who the current commentators are. Chris Berman still on ESPN? He irritates me, though I like the other commentators. I haven't watched the NFL network a whole lot. In general, its existence annoys me. Remember when you had to have a subscription in order to get the Thursday night games? I'd probably go with ESPN (never for baseball, though, ever). I feel like the NFL Network is second rate. |

The 49ers played LE FOOTBALL last night! Lots of Youngstowners are 9ers fans. Edward DeBartolo A Youngstown business mogul,owned the team for a while. They have been known to practice in youngstown,even recently.

doodlebug, maybe the NFL's contracts with cable companies differ from the ones they have with other providers. I had the mid-range package with Time Warner and didn't get the NFL Network. Now I have either the cheapest or 2nd cheapest package with DirecTV and NFL Network comes standard. It's the same for my parents, who have Verizon Fios.
Bluemilk, that game made me sad. I have the Bears defense on my fantasy team. Sigh. |

Yeah...my father gets it with his Directv too.
Well we have some football today!!! Hopefully the Patriots will make the Jets squeal and cry like little girls. Would love to see a repeat of last Sunday...
