You guys, it might........... ::dramatic pause::

RAIN HERE.

@_@

99% of Southern Californians simply cannot handle the rain. They forget how to do everything, especially drive.

Now we are looking at 7 or 8 inches of snow today. It hasn't started yet so I'm going to exercise. Then I'll hunker down with Mark and the furkids until the snow ends.

LakotaWolf, did you actually get rain? People here don't know how to drive, period, but they do tend to cut you off even worse when it's raining...

We ended up with about a foot. Some has already started to melt, but anything that was wet this afternoon is now frozen - absolutely no one should be out driving. I saw one car earlier try to turn onto the street just past my house. I guess it was impassible because he decided to go straight. Then I saw him come back past my house and try another street. Hope he managed to get home.

We've got more snow on the ground, today.

Y'know...contrary to popular belief, Ducks DON'T migrate. Right? During the warmer weather I saw Mama Mallard and co. having a swim in the Mahoning River.

After some widely fluctuating forecasts, the weather peeps have settled on a guesstimation of about 6-10 inches of snow with high winds for us tomorrow. Hopefully that's completely wrong, but if they're right that will be the first significant (more than 4 inches) snow of the year here.

Which do you think is better? To have warm snaps, followed by snowstorms or just one continuing snowy cold winter?

We've been having a wonderful, cold winter, as it should be (well, cold for San Diego). Now all of a sudden we're in the 80's and it's supposed to hit 90 this week. Mother Nature is having hot flashes again.

Marie, I know, it's killing me! I'm in Orange County and it looks like it's going to be a rockin' 87F tomorrow. Ugh! I just bought a new batch of warm long-socks! >_< It's supposed to still be cold!

And the winds have been bad too :{ I think the El Ninos are on their way.

The winds have been horrible. A huge tree fell on a car being driven and killed a local musician last week as she was driving to a gig at the beach here.

That's awful!

Well it's really snowing right now, and this weekend it's going down into the single digits. I guess we need winter weather. We've had mild temps this year, and little snow.
