Help me choose a new camera
My 11 year old Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 is getting slower and slower, even with fresh batteries. Apparently the average lifespan of a digital point-and-shoot camera is about 7 years, so this camera is the equivalent of about 110 human years.
So what I'm looking for is something in an under $350 price range, with a fairly fast shutter speed so that when I take pictures of the cats I no longer get their tails in the corner of the frame as they're leaving. And good macro and indoor settings so that when I photograph items for my Etsy shop they don't look either washed out from flash or too blurry.
