Default Be careful of the kit n kaboodle

Just a note to the person who is feeding Kit N Kaboodle. That is the junkiest of Purnina's line of food. There is way too many food dyes and other additives. The only cat I ever had with kidney problems ate a diet of nothing, but Kit N Kaboodle. Just thought I'd mention this to you.

150 g liver (pork or beef)
3 egg yolks (appr. 60 g)
90 g steamed veggies
5 tbls calcium lactate
1½ tbsl fish oil or flax seed oil
2,5 ml salt substitute

The veggies I use for this recipe (not very important that you use the same) are broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Steamed and mixed. I feed all the meat (and the yolks) raw. If you have a grinder I recommend you grind the liver and the heart. The beef that isn't minced should be cut in whatever
as an american living in europe, i do a lot of converting for recipes, so happen to have a desk converter calculator here. as such, here are the measurements for all of those who don't wanna look for conversion thingies

1.5 pounds beef
1 pound ground beef
1 pound heart (pork or beef)
1/3 pound liver (pork or beef)
1/5 pound steamed veggies
1/2 teaspoon salt

technically, it's 1.1 pounds ground beef and .9 pounds heart, but i doubt anyone will bother with that. so anyhow, there it is.

Okay i found a cow heart, but I couldn't find any yellow paprika, can I leave that out? I have 5.5 chicken with 1.5 lbs liver, 1.5 lbs heart, squash and red paprika, will that be sufficient? Plus my butcher couldn't grind the bones with it, so I have salt substitute and calcium lactate.

Default calcium subtitute

I do not have a meat grinder (yet) and I was wondering if I could substitute bone meal instead of the ground meat W/ bone. Would that work? If so, how much would I add to the chicken recipe listed above?

My cat love the raw meat and chicken heart so much that they decided they do not want the Wellness brand cat food! Ugh!
