We buy our organic, free-range Thanksgiving turkey from a local homestead. This year, they sent the freshly slaughtered bird home with a bag of organs and other vittles. Is it okay to give a little bit of this to the cats?
I would imagine they'd love the treat, but I just wanted to be sure |

My girls haven't been around long enough to enjoy a Thanksgiving (they were born March 3) but I know my husband's cat growing up always got all the giblets from the turkey and she LOVED it. His mom would put them in a bowl and give them to her and she lived to be 16 so I'm sure she was fine!

It's fine but don't risk tossing them all in a bowl. Cats who are not used to organs in particular may have diarrhea from too much at once. I would offer it a bit at a time, freezing the rest in small portions and doling out over several weeks. The neck can be given as one meal.
