I have "googled" this poem, and can find no author. So I think it would be fine for you to post it in your Journal. Just put "Author Unknown" after it. It's very touching, isn't it?

Thanks for sharing this poem! It's very heart-touching/warming. It reminded of all the good times that I had with my deceased pets. It also brought tears to my eyes. Yes, it is worth it to have chosen tears!
