San Diego County Animal Shelter Summer Discount
My cat was in the shelter for 30 days so she was free and came w/ food, litter, her blanket and toy.
The rest have been discounted to $30 for the summer. County of San Diego - Animal Services

Man, that is a amazingly great deal! We had a two day period where cats were for 25 bucks each, but the only deal that lasts that long is the 'two for one' special, to help encourage getting two kittens so the one doesn't drive you mad.
Which is to say, if I lived in San Diego right now I would probably end up taking home quite a few of those darlings. |

I know; it's so hard to see them all in cages for who knows how long. And they're just giving them away.
When I was visiting my current cat, to see if she'd be a good match, another was meowing and trying to get me LOL "Take me, take me"
