If you can adopt please do.
Also whenever you can adopt a senior cat do it and give some love at least for the last few years of their lives.

ugh, that hurts to look at because I'm powerless. The shelter sure does like to "shock you" with their descriptions.

Whatever happen to No Kill Shelters? So sad Its going to Petfinder that has helped occur the present numbers of kittys I have now I know our shelters around here once a month bring shelter kittys/ and dogs to some of the different BIG malls in DesMoines, this has helped considerably in adoption numbers being up. Its hard to say "NO" when they are right in front of you, I also know its tough to say "no" to them when I look at the Petfinder in our area. Please Spay and Neuter, this is heartbreaking

Default I just adopted my first kitten

I just adopted my first kitten from this site. This Rescue center travels every saturday all the way to the south to pick up adopted kittens. all kittens are on Death Row and are slated to be put to sleep either Wednesday or Friday.
Can't wait to have my kitten !!!! It's my first cat and I feel like a mother!!!!

Default No kitten for me

I just wanted to give an update. I might not get the kitten because of the "No Pet" policy in my building. What's funny though is that everyone where I live has cats or dogs, but the adoption agency would not give him to me anyways I was so happy because I live alone and I spend all my time at home

I wrote a letter to the council member from where I live. That is not fair!!!
They should remove this policy!
