Aww im sitting here crying reading all of your threads. I lost my baby Candy on 22nd Feb 2005, I had her for 12 years. Shes white with some tabby markings and every time i see a plastic bag lying in the street I think its her, its so horrible and still miss her so much. I lost my other baby Stella in July last year, she was run down, and my other baby Smurf in Feb of this year. Ive got snowball left and I am terrified everytime she goes out, dont think I could ho thorugh it again, still cry for them all! Such a horrible thing to go through, but when I lost Stella and Smurf I could grieve but i still dont know if Candy is dead or alive so theres still hope there!

I'm so sorry! You might want to post a tribute in The Rainbow Bridge forum. I wish you the best.

This article: Finding Lost Pets contains some extremely important information about how pet temperament and behavior determine how and where to look for a lost pet.

Great topic.

When my Dixie didn't come back by afternoon before Christmas Eve, I knew something was wrong. She was always back by the afternoon. I looked and looked for her, and I did find her. I was devastated to see that her hind leg had a really bad wound on it. I took her to the emergency vet (it was Christmas Eve), and the vet said she could fix her. We later get a call saying that she's doing fine, and that was great to hear. Then an hour later, we get a call saying that she passed away during surgery. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My furbaby was only 1 1/2 years old, and she passed away! I was so sad, and I am still in pain.

I am so very sorry! If you'd like to, you can post a tribute to your Dixie at the Rainbow Bridge Forum. You will never forget, but your pain will ease. God bless.
